Doctor Alison Laidlaw Opens New Optometry Clinic in Kitchener Ontario
Beginning September 2009, residents of Kitchener Ontario will have a new choice of locations for their eye care needs. Along with the optometry clinic, Doctor Laidlaw is also launching a new website to simplifying appointment booking and to provide general optometric information to the public.
Kitchener, ON September 1, 2009 — Doctor Alison Laidlaw operates a progressive multi-service eye care practice already serving Guelph and Brantford Ontario, and is now opening an office in Kitchener Ontario to better serve the community. The office is located on the second floor of the new Williamsburg Town Centre building at 1187 Fischer-Hallman Road, Unit 628.
The new clinic opens the first week of September, a popular time to book children for eye examinations because of the importance of sharp vision to their classroom education. For that reason Dr. Laidlaw is offering convenient appointment hours including after-school, evenings, and weekends.
The spacious office is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools including a digital retinal camera, and an autorefractor/keratometer. Provided optometric services include contact lens and glasses prescriptions, tests for eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, tests for colour vision and stereo acuity, and laser refractive pre- and post-op exams. The wheelchair accessible office is suited to accommodate infants, pre-school children, adults, seniors, and patients with special needs. More information on the optometry services provided at the Kitchener Ontario office can be found at http://goldeneyes.ca/services.
Along with a new optometry clinic, Dr. Laidlaw is simultaneously launching a new website – http://goldeneyes.ca – that provides general information on eye conditions and their symptoms, and explains what services are covered by OHIP for Ontario residents. Dr. Laidlaw explains how the name GoldenEyes refers to the Golden Triangle region in which she practices: Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph, and Cambridge Ontario. The website was designed to be easy to read and navigate by http://successrank.ca, and embodies significant research into the browsing and searching behaviour of optometry patients.
Alison Laidlaw began practicing in 2005 with the goal of improving quality of life for Canadians by providing excellent eye care. For more information please contact Dr. Laidlaw at any of the following offices:
